Social networking sites are having a significant impact on the workplace. From being a useful tool driving “business to consumer” communication, to becoming a distraction for staff during office hours (or attracting unwanted publicity when things go wrong).
The aim of this workshop is to provide employers with a better understanding of the implications of staff access to social media in (and out of) the workplace. We will consider the benefits and the risks to business. Delegates will have practical examples of what employers can do, and how to develop or implement policies. There will be an interactive case study, and a legal overview.
